Using Physical Slot Inventory Report

1. When you first enter into the Physical Slot Inventory Report option, a Select A Location window appears and displays all locations that have slotting capabilities. Scroll to the appropriate slotted location or select Exit to return to the Inventory menu. Press Enter to confirm your selection.

Note: Only one location at a time can be selected for the report.

2. At the Slot field enter the slot(s) to run the report for. This may be done several ways:

• Enter the slot ID to run the report for a single slot
• Press F3 to display a Select A Slot window listing all slots defined for the location. Scroll to the correct slot and press Enter to confirm your selection.
• Enter a maskA mask is used to conduct a wild card search. Visually a mask is represented by a series of forward slash marks (///), sometimes with a letter, letters, or number preceding it (1/// or AB///). Using a mask allows you to generate a list of like groups. For instance, if you wanted to find a customer whose name began with AB or a group of customers whose name begins with AB, and are within a "mask" field, entering AB along with a (system) designated number of forward slashes, would list all customer defined in the system whose names begin with AB. for slots for the report. See Entering a Mask for more information on entering masks. Or, enter "////" to run the report for all slots.

If you press Enter without making an entry into the Slot field, the system will return to the Select a Location window.

3. At the Print Lot Text (Y/N) field, enter Y (Y=yes) to include the Item Info Text 6 field on the report; enter N (N=no) to exclude the Item Info Text 6 field from the report.

4. If the report is being generated for more than one slot, command options will appear: Full and Empty(X), Full Only, Empty Only.

• Full and Empty(X) – Select Full and Empty (X) to print the physical inventory for all slots, regardless of whether they have inventory or not.
• Full Only – Select Full Only to print the report for slots that contain inventory.
• Empty Only – Select Empty Only to print the report for slots that do not contain any inventory.

5. Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.
